The GE Universal Fit 5-ton packaged gas/electric rooftop unit (catalog GC912, chassis ZGD060S5B) combines DX cooling with factory gas heat in one curb-mounted package. It is a typical choice when the job already has gas at the roof and the existing unit is gas/electric.

This configuration is 575V, 3-phase, with 150 MBH dual-stage gas heat, and includes a 1.5 HP blower (Z06 drive). Universal Fit footprint design supports common commercial curb replacements so crews can change out the unit with less curb rework when dimensions match.

Heavy-gauge cabinet construction, full-perimeter base rails, and accessible gas/heat and compressor sections support serviceability. Current Universal Fit packaged models use R-454B with a factory refrigerant detection system.
